Sultry Theatrical Innovations is a cross-border Pacific Northwest based artist driven Collective. Our mission is to:

  • Write and produce new original musical comedies
  • Provide performance opportunities for new / emerging musical theatre talents
  • Center 2SLGBTQIA+ and neuroqueer voices & perspectives
  • Offer medically sound, practical sexual health information in entertaining, accessible formats

Our vision is to present new original works that leave audiences feeling more informed, less stigmatized, and aching with laughter.

Sultry Theatrical Innovations was formed in 2025 by Rosalyn Mihalko, Diva Macdonald, and John Woods, after years of working in pairs on various original musical theatre shows. Each felt drawn to producing original work with an edu-tainment focus – specifically in the area of sexual health –  and providing performance opportunities for new, emerging musical theatre talents.

The collective’s first (and so far only) production is 1-800-S3X-WYZE: The Health Hotline Musical, which enjoyed a sold-out run at the 2025 Vancouver International Fringe Festival with a cast of three recent theatre school graduates in their early twenties. The show will be re-mounted in spring 2027 at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam and at the Nest Theatre on Granville Island.
